As a mother of three (now “for-the-most-part” adults) I sometimes kind of miss the rough and tumble good old days of fights and squabbles… kisses and huggles. Kids are exhausting and I am sure it is going to take me the next 20 years just to get over raising them! At last… some free time for myself. Hence… this blog. Time on my hands? No way… too much to catch up on… places to go… people to meet… painting deadlines hurtling in… and now this! What was I thinking? Another commitment? As if I haven’t already had years of that. Ah well… what is life if we are not committed? *sigh* (((giggles)))
Here’s today’s offering… one for the good old days… by the way this is exactly the way it was!

I would not know as I had perfect children, (cough, cough, cough), perfectly dirty after play field hockey, perfectly annoying when whining, and perfect angels when sleeping. Would not trade them for all the gold in the world (well most of the time)

Jean, you’re a natural for blogging. Your colors are great! So bright and cheery. The purple and red reminds me of all us Red Hatters who are coming of age. Your blog couldn’t be off to a better start. I look forward to reading more … and of course, I must warn you that the kiddoes won’t be gone for very long. There’s a 95% chance that one or more of them will be back to you. Just remember to write a lease agreement with an end date!
