Jean, I have seen this one before, and it is hillarious! You have to admire the elderly lady wilth the bag–I still wonder just WHAT was in that bag!!!! Any ideas???? Bet it was the last time that guy got impatient with a grey-haired grandma–Hmmm? He paid the price in the end, and it served him right. LOL!–still laughing!

By the way Julie, I am on dial-up service, and it takes a long time for it to load for me. It might be the same problem for you?

(((chuckles))) hilarious eh? Feathers… the older I get the more I have noticed the mounting disrespect for the elderly. Witnessing my parents become elderly was a great insight too. My mother was always bothered by people who spoke condescendingly to her (even tho I’m sure they were just trying to be kind). She used to say how she resented it on every level… and I can see why. I knew my Mum and I knew she wasn’t hard of hearing or mentally impaired in any way yet throughout her illness she had to put up with people mouthing words (loud and slow) into her face as though she was hard of hearing and/or had no idea what was going on.
On the other end of the spectrum… I recently had this same discussion with my daughter who revealed that she had felt the same way as a child. She particularly recalled the baby talk from well meaning adults (teachers mostly and older relatives not us!~ LOL)and how indignant she had felt that they thought she was too small to understand!
It seems to me that inside every little person is a grown up just busting to get out… and inside every grown up is a teenager… yep… just busting to get out! (((LOL))) More POWER to them I say!!!
I guess it all comes down to respect (regardless of age)… thanks for taking another look at the clip!

Jools… yes… could be the dial up connection. It takes a little while on mine too and I have broadband… but once it’s loaded you can replay it without the delays. Keep trying… I know you will be able to relate!

I got it!!!! I clicked once, then clicked twice…it started!!!! Thumbs up for “grey power”! I totally understand the plight of the “more mature”, especially the speed at which they have to navigate road crossings (I’m in the same boat!). You don’t have to be “old” to be in the path of a Mercedes!!!!! Bring it on Jean!!!!! Lol!
