Even the weather co-operated. Grin. It is rather late in the year to have that sparkle on the water normally only seen in winter when the sun is to the north. Your young students must be thrilled to paint with you, I'm sure they will never forget the experience you share with them. I will be celebrating my birthday just a week away from yours on the 20th. (I knew I felt a close kinship to you) Grin! Our weather will not likely be as warm and wonderful, we even had a short snowstorm last Saturday, nothing stuck, but what a wakeup call!!!
