iLOVE

No it’s not the latest App nor the latest iPhone iPad iPod or iMac…

iLOVE is the love [and respect] you give to yourself for just being you.

Yes… YOU… you gorgeous talented smart sexy hunk of humanity you.

And no… iLOVE doesn’t care that you gained a few pounds… or that you got out on the wrong side of the bed.

iLOVE loves you no matter what.

It’s the kind of love that always turns up on time and on task… ready to fight for you… to stick up for you… to hug you when you’re down… to keep you fit and organised and ready to take on the world.

And it won’t take any nonsense from your inner critic either.

It understands and respects you.

It loves you for who you are [when the world might not give a damn]

But don’t get me wrong.

iLOVE isn’t selfish.

Or egotistical.

iLOVE merely sees the greatness and potential in EVERYONE.

Because iLOVE also recognises that you are no more important [nor great] than the next person.

But it respects your uniqueness… your utter genius… your extraordinary gifts both God and/or Universally given.

It loves you for the beautiful person you are inside and out.

And yes… everyone is [no matter how hard they might try to hide it]

iLOVE cares about WHO YOU ARE

not what you look like [unless of course you're a scruffy mess in which case you won't be allowed out]

… or what you can or can’t do.

iLOVE just loves you anyway.

It’s the kind of love the world needs now

iLOVE sweet iLOVE

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY Everyone… give yourself a great big hug [grin]

Hey, why don’t you share this on my Life Lessons website? And a story if possible. This is so cute! The kind of love the world needs now. Very inspiring :)

Oh this is a biggy at this time in the morning. I will have to think about it as I haven’t been my best person recently . Having to be hard and putting people at arms length and further . Lady bountiful and her co horts have me screaming obsenities (Cant even spell the word ) And now our neighbours have made us the talk of the steamie
(glasgow expression ) because we had to say to them a loud NO .
I doubt I will have to wait to meet my maker to get the lowdown on me and my report card Thanks for the thought poke Hugs

Elinor… don’t feel bad for sticking up for your self. You have to love yourself enough to draw that line in the sand. Now do what the Queen does [and I don't mean to be rubbing her in to the Scots LOL] but to me she does it well. She simply carries – on – regardless – and through thick and thin… all the mudslinging backstabbing and scandal she always comes out squeaky clean. Whatever the politics I like that about her :-)

[the talk of the steamie... I LOVE that... can I borrow it?] Hugs too…x

Forget the hook Elinor… hang onto that handbag and hurl it at someone if you need to LOL I know you’re a lady… you’re ladihelen afterall [knew that already] and yes… isn’t the Queen just wonderful? I have to be careful saying that here in Australia with so many pro republic peeps tucked away in dark places. But Australia’s done okay so far and with the example of our totally ludicrous and inept politicians here in this country can’t begin to imagine who they would choose as a potential President. OMG boggles the mind. Maybe Ernie Dingo… or Dame Edna even… Clive James or Rolf Harris would be fun but they both left and never came back (((chuckles)))

Hi Jean, (and a wave to Elinor) I’ve found that it’s the people we care about the most who trample the heaviest on “I-Love”. Thanks for the reminder. If we don’t love and honor ourselves, nobody else will!!! Sometimes I have to swallow really hard.— Hugs, Anita.

Hi Anita… [so sorry I missed your comment - I've been doing some work on the website and must have done something to my notifications... oops]

All I can say is iKNOW [grin]

I’ve slowly weeded out those who’ve trampled the heaviest… although there is still the residual effect! iLOVE sure is a biggie for everyone I think. We need to get the balance right and keep it that way. No small task tho. So great to hear from you… hope your summer will soon be on the way. Hugs all the way back to you as well Anita x

Hi, Jean! I’m coming late to the party, but iLove you, too! I’ve switched computers, and I’ve been slow in getting all my favorites on the new one. Hope you’re doing well.
